This is Baby, an adorable kitten who was tragically abandoned when he was just, well, a baby.
Thankfully, this man found Baby when he heard her meowing as he was mowing his lawn.
“Found this little one in my backyard in a hole under the fence,” the man said. “She was the runt and the mom abandoned her after moving the litter.”
After hearing Baby crying, the man tore down his rock wall just to get to her. Once he got her inside, he proceeded to nurse her back to health by giving her round-the-clock care.
“She didn’t open her eyes for 10 days,” he recounted. “I woke up/came home every 2.5 hours to bottle feed and warm her bed.”
It wasn’t until day 11 that Baby finally opened her eyes and saw the world for the first time!
As soon as Baby was able to see and get to her feet, she showed how curious she is by setting off to explore her new home.
Even when Baby was still as small as a sock, she still had hobbies like laying in the sun.
Baby has grown up a lot since then, but she still loves the man who saved her.
One of her favorite things to do is to snuggle up on his shoulder for her nap each day.
“She always pays special attention to me when I get back from a work trip,” he said, adding that Baby often lays on his belly as soon as he lays down.
Photos of baby have quickly gone viral, with social media users praising the man for rescuing her and giving her the loving forever home that she deserves!
