One homeless man went to Burger King. As every other homeless man, so as this one was wearing messy and shabby clothes.
Few coins in his hand were everything that he had. Of course, he was hungry.
When his turn arrived, he politely asked the employee what he can get with the fifty cents he has.
Matthew Resendez is a young, kind boy, and he is the perfect illustration of how we should all do, and a good act cannot go unrecognized.
His mom taught him how he needs to treat every individual with respect. Regardless of our social status, we all deserve the same respect.
Matthew’s mother is now a proud mom that has taught her son the most valuable lesson- humanity.
He was the employee that received the homeless man, and he didn’t turn him away. But, he is a real human and helped the man.
The mother shared the whole story, and she wrote:
‘’ Proud mom moment!
Matthew was working this evening, and a homeless man walked into the restaurant with 50 cents and asked if there was anything on the menu he could buy.
Matthew asked him what he would purchase if he could, and he said any item would ease his aches and pains …”.
” So Matthew rung him up for a hearty meal and then used his personal card to cover the man’s meal. He gave him the receipt and told him to unwind and take a seat. The story could stop there, and it would certainly be a happy ending, but apparently, a lady witnessed my boy during the course of his random act of compassion.
Not only did she write the business to let them know about the caring staff member they had working for them, [but] she even rewarded my son with a really good tip!
So proud to be his mother, and I can certainly pat myself on the back knowing that I’ve played a part in raising this big-hearted young man.”.
It would be very likely if some other people from the staff members were in his position to ask the man to exit.
But Matthew isn’t one of them. He did the best thing he could possibly do.
Matthew is a special young man who wants to help people in need. And, he was even rewarded about his gest.
Million people heard Matthew’s story, and they believe that on Earth, humanity still exists. Numerous people worldwide must adopt his way of thinking, and the world would be a better place.
