Brian Dietzen is notoriously private about his family life, but he appeared to reveal his children’s names on social media for the first time.
The NCIS star recently took to Instagram to share a photo of some personalised golf wedges made especially for him.
The wedges included several tributes to his son and daughter, about whom he rarely shares photos or information.
He revealed that the wedges bore the names of his children, as well as a symbol dedicated to them.
The name Clover and some musical notes were on one wedge, and the name Satchel and an Overwatch logo were on the other.
Brian captioned the photo, “Shout out to my guy @anthony.taranto for decorating some amazing new Callaway wedges for me.” Names of the children! My daughter received musical notes, and my son received an Overwatch logo!
Brian Dietzen of NCIS revealed his children’s names in a photo.
“These bad boys are fantastic. (I’m digging the new grooves’ stopping power!) ” Also, if you have the opportunity to play @koolinagolf, take advantage of it.”
Fans reacted quickly to the post, with many praising Brian for being a cool parent. “Well, I’m officially the coolest dad ever now,” one wrote, adding, “This is amazing and so sweet.” “This warms my heart,” said a third.
Brian and his wife, Kelly Dietzen, have two children. While private, the actor couldn’t help but share a rare glimpse into their close family dynamics back in May, when he shared a photo of Kelly in honor of Mother’s Day.
He wrote in the caption: “Happy Mother’s Day to everyone! Today, our family is gathered here to honor this woman. Kel, you’re the best. Our children were fortunate to have you as their mother.”
He has also previously revealed that his favorite holiday with his family is Christmas.
He wrote in December: “This is my absolute favorite season. Merry Christmas to everyone who celebrates, and a happy Saturday to everyone who doesn’t!” It’s been a wonderful few days in my home state with my family. Feeling blessed, recharged, and excited to get back to work in the new year!” I hope you had something to smile about today.”
The actor has been playing Jimmy Palmer on NCIS since 2004, beginning as a guest appearance and working his way up the ranks.
